This painting reflects the love and support I have received from my family and friends since the concussion. Having a strong support system is the backing of healing from a head injury successfully. I would not have been where I am today with it. As I was creating this piece a flurry of emotions have come over me. I alway start with the darkness which for me is the depression and anxiety, then work my way through the light and in the end the painting feel light. I always feel I have defeated my own struggles after I paint.
