Painted in Ontario Canada on a friend property in 2021 during the pandemic. This painting showcase what inside of my mind as I navigate my life, my work, my head space and dealing with a lost family member. This time has been hard on all of us. For those who have lost their family or friends, I am deeply sorry and can empathize with the way you feel. I however have a difficult time expressing my emotions, so I paint. I scream out what I feel. Why did you pass so early? Why, Stupid damn Covid19! I wish I visited you in the hospital? Why did they let me see you? I wish I told you I loved you one last time.
Expressing yourself in a way thats just 'for you' is fine. Don't ever feel you need to share more than you are able to. It's ok to not be ok.
